Verizon

Customers of Verizon with limited data plans will not incur data fees while using VA Video Connect on the Verizon 4G LTE network*. Video visits using VA Video Connect are automatically recognized; no action is required by the user.

NOTE: For Verizon’s unlimited plans, including all its 5G plans, there are no additional data fees to use VA Video Connect; however, VA Video Connect data can count toward a data down-speeding limit depending on a customer’s purchased data plan.

In the following situations, use of VA Video Connect may still result in data charges if the Verizon subscribers are:

  • Roaming: Both domestic and international roaming on the Verizon Wireless network will incur data charges.
  • Connecting to VA Video Connect through a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
