Introduction

The SmartCast® app allows users to quickly and confidently scan patients for custom foot orthotics and is the command center of the SmartCast® system. The app works in tandem with the SmartCast Foot Positioning System® to create an all-inclusive solution for prescribing custom foot orthotics. With SmartCast®, the precision of traditional plaster casting meets the ease and convenience of a fully digital solution.

This app provides proprietary scanning software that directly uploads in to Northwest Podiatric Laboratory's digital fabrication system in order to facilitate and speed up efficient fabrication of orthotic devices. No other app on the VA App Store can upload to Northwest Podiatric Laboratory's system.
