This presentation will give a brief overview of patient-generated health data (PGHD) at VA and discuss the benefits of using virtual care tools and PGHD for heart health. The presentation will also detail VA virtual care resources available for heart health – and opportunities and considerations for integrating them into clinical care. Kimberly Braswell, Dr. Christina Armstrong, and Cortney Frosch will present the importance of using patient-generated health data to support clinical management and shared decision-making in Veterans’ heart health.
