Lock Icon - DS Logon Required Apps for Veterans that display a lock icon require DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account credentials because they connect to the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR). Get a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account.

If you are a Veteran enrolled in VA health care, the VA Launchpad houses all apps that connect to VA’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and access your personal VA health information. This tool groups together VA’s mobile apps that require a secure logon to access your EHR. By signing into the VA Launchpad once with your DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account, you can access multiple apps without logging in to each one individually. (NOTE: You can also access the apps separately without going through the VA Launchpad). For more information on DS Logon, visit mobile.va.gov/dslogon.

VA Launchpad is currently in beta testing and unavailable. To learn more about how to become a beta app tester, click here.

The VA Launchpad serves as a convenient way to group mobile apps for Veterans that connect to VA’s Electronic Health Record (EHR). It protects your personal information by requiring a secure logon, called a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account, to access these apps. By signing in to the VA Launchpad once with your DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account, you can access multiple apps from one location without having to log into each one individually.
DS Logon (Department of Defense Self-Service Logon) is a secure logon ID, created by the Department of Defense (DoD), that verifies the identities of individuals affiliated with DoD or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and allows them to access secure websites and digital resources across DoD and VA using a single username and password. If you do not have a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account or are not sure, you can register or verify your logon at the MyAccess site. Please note that the process for acquiring a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account requires your identity to be verified through a process called Remote Proofing and may not be immediate.
Visit the MyAccess site to upgrade your account. Please note that the process for upgrading to a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account requires your identity to be verified through a process called Remote Proofing and may not be immediate.
The Remote Proofing process is a security precaution needed to verify your identity and protect your information, making sure no one but you can access your health records. Remote Proofing can occur either online or in-person. During the online Remote Proofing process, you will be asked questions that may seem personal, such as where you attend school, where you lived previously and cars that you have owned in the past. For additional information on the Remote Proofing process, visit the My Access Center DS Logon Quick Guide.
Yes. The eBenefits Premium Account is synonymous with a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account.
Even if you have a My HealtheVet Premium Account, you will need to register for a DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account. NOTE: Some VA mobile apps may also require a My HealtheVet account. Please see the FAQs for each individual app to determine additional prerequisites.
All of the VA apps that connect to your VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) that are currently available from the VA Launchpad will be visible on the VA Launchpad Menu Screen. These apps will give you on-the-go access to your health information, let you easily refill prescriptions, securely communicate with your health care providers and provide other health management tools through your mobile device. These apps, as well as VA-developed apps that do not access your VA EHR (such as informational apps or apps that track only information you have entered and do not connect to your VA records), will also be available through the VA App Store. New apps will be added to both the VA App Store and the VA Launchpad as they become available from VA.

Apps that do not connect to the VA EHR do not require you to enter your DS Logon Level 2 (Premium) Account to access them.
