The Motion Control User Interface connects and communicates with ProPlus, ProWrist, and Powered Flexion Wrist products via wireless communications. Users can change control modes, adjust gains, thresholds, and other settings without a wired connection to a computer.

No other app on the VA Mobile App Store has the proprietary ability to connect to the Fillauer Motion Control hands, wrists, and elbows and program them.

The Myo Plus app from Ottobock lets you configure the Myo Plus prosthesis control for the various myoelectric terminal devices. The app also makes it possible to adapt the control to individual needs on an ongoing basis. For this purpose, the Myo Plus app connects to the Myo Plus TR prosthesis control or the Myo cuff to evaluate the movement patterns.

No other app has the proprietary access to the Myo Plus control system from Ottobock in order to program them.

The application is used to scan a patient through the use of a Structure Scanner for custom fabrication of breast mastectomy prostheses. The application uses a digital workflow to transfer scan data and order information to Trulife Radiant Impressions, the custom breast mastectomy prosthesis division of Trulife, for more efficient turn around times and better Veteran experience.

No other app on the VA App Store can scan for custom breast mastectomy prostheses, and no other app on the Apple App Store can upload directly through proprietary software links to the Trulife Radiant Impressions fabrication system for digital workflow optimization.

VA App Catalog Required iOS Version of SIC app: You must be on your VA-issued mobile device in order to install and launch the iOS version of the Staff Image Capture app. From your VA-issued mobile device home screen, find the VA App Catalog icon (MDM.VA.gov) pictured to the right and search for search for Staff Image Capture, and tap “Install”.

The Staff Image Capture (SIC) app allows U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clinicians to capture clinical images with a VA-issued iPhone or iPad (Government Furnished Equipment or GFE) and save the images to a Veteran’s Electronic Health Record. The app saves images to VistA Imaging and attaches them to a Progress Note in CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System)/VistA.

NOTE: LAUNCH REQUIREMENTS

  1. Your iPhone or iPad must be connected to the VA network.
  2. You must be able to access CPRS.
    • If needed, work with your Information Resource Management (IRM) or Clinical Applications Coordinator (CAC) to request the secondary menu OR CPRS GUI CHART.
  3. Ensure that you have a PIV card that is linked to your CPRS/VistA account.
    • If you need assistance, please contact the Office of Connected Care Help Desk at: 866-651-3180
  4. Ensure that you have access to Vista Imaging in addition to CPRS.
